How it works
Military to standard: if the hours are 13 or more, subtract 12 and add PM (1430 → 2:30 PM). From 0100 to 1159 it's AM, 1200 to 1259 is 12 PM, and 0000 to 0059 is 12 AM (midnight hour).
Standard to military: for PM times add 12 to the hour (7:05 PM → 1905). For AM, keep the hour and add a leading zero (7:05 AM → 0705). 12 AM becomes 00, so 12:30 AM is 0030.
PM hour + 12 = military hour (except 12 PM = 12) · 12 AM = 00
