How it works
The countdown runs to midnight at the start of the next birthday in your own time zone. People born on February 29 count down to February 28 in common years.
Age in days, hours, minutes and seconds counts from midnight on the birth date and updates every second. Heartbeats use an average of 80 beats a minute, so it's a fun estimate.
Tap Share countdown to send a link with the birthday built in. Whoever opens it sees the same live countdown, and on the day everyone gets the full-screen Happy Birthday.
Worked example
Born May 15, 1990, checked on October 21, 2026: the next birthday is May 15, 2027, 206 days away, when they turn 37. So far they've been alive 36 years, 5 months and 6 days, or 13,308 days.
